2027 will be the fourth BWAM Bikebusters Scatter Rally, the one-day scatter rally which encourages you to ride the south’s best roads and follws on from the success of 2026's event which introduced remote starts and an electronic control card. Based around a gameboard similar the 90’s game show, Blockbusters.

All participants must visit HQ, where tea, coffee and a hot meal will be waiting for you. If you choose to start from HQ, you can order a breakfast roll to start the day.

For those that live further afield or prefer to start from their own location. Remote starters will receive the same gameboard and controls, and can submit their answers online. You must pass through event HQ during the day.

If you choose the remote start option, you will receive the same gameboard and controls and sign in remotely. You must visit HQ during the day and can choose to finish the event there or submit your answers online. Whether you start at HQ or remotely, you must sign in between 09.00 and 11.00 and submit your answers before 22.00.

The aim is to create a continuous line from one side of the board to the other, each hexagon being a location of a control:

• Orange – manned/designated controls where your visit will be logged
• Yellow – un-manned controls where you will have to find the correct answer to a clue

The more checkpoints you visit the higher the award – but you must have a continuous line of correct answers across the board linking your controls.

With the caterers and fair weather booked it’s sure to be a day of adventure and discovery around Wessex, testing your planning, navigational and observation skills.

Upon successful completion you’ll get a hot meal, certificate, memento and most of all - a memory to cherish forever!
